Over the past week, I have noticed that when Lainey’s ear mold is not completely in her ear, she will try to push it in better. I have been amazed by that and today, Lainey took it to a new level.
While we were on our walk, I heard her say “Uh oh, uh oh, uh oh”. I didn’t see her drop anything so I wasn’t exactly sure what she was trying to tell me. I stopped to check on her. I saw her right ear mold was completely out of her ear she was trying to fix it! I was stunned! She could have easily ripped her whole headband off, but she acknowledged her ear wasn’t in, told me, and also tried to problem solve it!
It makes me so happy that Lainey wants her ears in, and it brings me such a comfort that she knows they help her! She is already an amazing advocate for herself, and I couldn’t be prouder!! 🥰🥰🥰
